Please join the discussion on Tribal Issues on the US-Mexico Border Region and US EPA Border 2012 Program by attending the February 19, 2010 Border 2012 Tribal Caucus meeting.  The purpose of this meeting is to initiate new discussion on existing programs by identifying issues, promoting action and initiating tribal involvement in the Border 2012 program goals and objectives.

Did you know there has been approximately $1 million dollars in grants funds available to tribes in the Border 2012 program yet no tribe has applied?

Did you know if your tribe is considered a US-Border Tribe? See if your Tribe’s name is on the list at http://www.epa.gov/border2012/framework/people.html#tribes

Did you know each year there has been a report sent to EPA on Tribal accomplishments and issues since 2006?  Did your Tribe participate? Download the 2009 Report at http://naepc.com/site1/?page_id=114

Do you know how Tribes and Indigenous Mexico communities can work together?

Please register today or contact the NAEPC office for additional information. Draft agenda available for download here.

*Please be advised this is a Tribal Collaboration Meeting and is only open to Tribal Employees, Tribal Community Members, and Organizations that work within the Tribal Community.
